Visiting Ireland can be quite an impressive experience. However, before you go, you do need to gather some information about the places you plan to see. When it comes time to rent the car, be sure to rent it before you depart for Ireland.
The places of interest in Ireland (the ones that every travel guide woul recommend) are: Mount Stewart, Bunratty castle, Rock of Cashel, Holly Cross Abbey or Guinness Storehouse.
When travelling to Ireland, you need to bring a lot of warm clothing. It can get pretty cold there especially during the night time. Also, do keep in mind that a lot of upscale restaurants will require you to wear formal wear before you can go in. Thus, it’s a good idea to pack some just in case.
If you are travelling through the countryside, it’s a good idea to avoid drinking the tap water and the raw fruits and vegetables. When you find yourself lost in Ireland, remember that all directions that are given should be taken with a grain of salt, meaning that they will point you in the right direction, but it is up to you to find the “right” way.
Last, but not least, never travel without an umbrella or a raincoat. It can rain a lot in Ireland, and you do not want to get caught out in the cold rain for a long time.
