The castle has great views from its hillside location which allows tourists to see great views of the city. Inside you can take a glimpse at the Scottish Crown Jewels, St Margaret’s Chapel and the Stone of Destiny.

Many local pubs and restaurants serve classic delicious food for reasonable prices but if you want more traditional Scottish food you will have to pay a little more. Fine restaurants offer meals from £10 – £15 with Howies and The Wee Windaes restaurants offer great traditional food in the centre of Edinburgh.
