Although the Lake District is a popular hiking destination, a good alternative to enjoy the surroundings is to visit them by boat. Tourists can rent rowing boats or motorboats allowing them to easily visit different places in the Lake District in very little time.

Tourists could either rent a boat with a guide or bring their boats to the area to enjoy the Lake District with the entire family on water. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could opt to raft in select areas.
