Backpacking in Mongolia

One of the unique travel ideas that you can consider in the middle of the year is in Mongolia. From May to October, the country is becomes alive because of the weather conditions in Mongolia is tourist friendly. Mongolia could get really cold during the winter season – as low as -40º Celsius could be experienced in this country. Anyone who doesn’t have any winter in their season should never consider going to Mongolia other than the months stipulated.

Mongolia is a relatively large country but even with its massive land mass, the population is very small. An average of only 4.5 people could be found in every square mile making it one of the least dense countries in the world in terms of population.

This is also one of the appealing traits of the country. It offers tranquil surroundings wherein miles and miles of uninhabited surroundings are possible.

The country is very appealing to backpackers. You can hire a tour guide wherein he can take you to some of the pristine places in country. You can just enjoy the cold night and appreciate the sky without anyone in sight except your tour guide. Attending the Naadam Festival during July is also a highly recommended event in Mongolia as the whole country gathers in the country’s capital Ulaanbaatar.

You don’t even have to spend thousands of dollars to enjoy Mongolia. Accommodations could go as low as $5 a night if you’re willing to stay in a hostel. Just make sure you can secure your items and documents so that you’ll never have trouble going to places.
