The world over, cheaper and better

Travel clever without stress

November and December are undoubtedly the busiest months of the year for travelling. Christmas and Thanksgiving will always urge people to travel so that they could be closer to their families. Because millions are travelling this time of year, travel-related stress will surely happen to those who are not prepared.

Here are some smart tips on how to survive your holiday without getting stressed out:

•Rest before you travel – give yourself an energy boost by resting as the airports will require you to be alert at all times.

•Travel light – don’t get yourself stuck in security lanes. Travel as light as you can so that you should be able to breeze through security check. It would even be better if you didn’t have any baggage.
•Bring medicines and other essentials things – there are only five things that you really need while on travel: your credit card or cash, ID, medicines, mobile phones and airline tickets.
•Have a Plan B – a plane ride should be your first choice of travelling but should not be the only thing. Have a plan B such as a bus, a rental car or anything that you can use as an alternative for travelling.
Of course, it depends where you are going.
•Check-in early – normally, you will be required to check-in an hour before flight schedule for domestic and two hours for international. For these busy months, check in two hours before flights and three to four hours for international. It is difficult but it is the only way for you to secure your seats and avoid long lines.
