Discovering Vietnam

Vietnam is a very interesting country in Southeast Asia. Although they were practically destroyed during the Vietnam War, the country was able to rise above the economic challenges. Today, it is a very attractive country with a variety of options for travellers.
The country is practically divided into four regions: Northern Vietnam, the Central Coast, Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam. You can choose a specific region in Vietnam depending on your idea of vacation.
Northern Vietnam features the city of Hanoi. You should be able to see in this region some of the most exotic places in the country. Although a little bit rural compared to most regions, you should be able to enjoy the Red River Delta as well as the Ha Long Bay.
The Central Coast of Vietnam is even more gorgeous in terms of historical sites. Different tourist destinations could be found in this region as this place used to be the home of different Kings of Vietnam. Visit the city of Hue as you will be able to find different guided tours. Do not miss the seaside towns in this region.
If you wanted to experience the natural setting of country, head to the Central Highlands of Vietnam. You should be able to be enjoy elephant rides here. Visit Dalat, the most popular city in this region which is also the most progressive in the area.
The Southern part of Vietnam is home to the capital of the city, Ho Chi Minh. This is the best place to start your vacation in Vietnam which features affordable shopping centers and easy access to different parts of the country.
